Today I would like to discuss Feng Shui in relation to the bathroom. Bathrooms present a paticular challenge in Feng shui because they can have a draining effect on other energy in the Bagua map. My main bathroom happens to be located in one of the worst places you can have it, in the center of the home. Other bad places to have a bathroom would be in the wealth or marriage area, on the second floor over the kitchen or next to the front door. For most people relocating the bathroom is not an option so what can you do short of building a new house?
1. Keep the toilet lid and drains closed when not in use.
2. Place a mirror on the outside of the door to deflect chi from running down the drain of being flushed away.
3. Keep the bathroom sparkly clean at all times a dirty bathroom will amplify negative qualities about this room.
4.Make sure that you have several souces of light this would be a great place for candles or chandeliers.
